6 Days and 5 Nights​

Meeting in the Airport, transfer to the hotel, check in procedure and time to rest after the flights. Afterwards we’ll start Tbilisi city tour. Tbilisi is the ancient city where Western & Eastern cultures meet each other. The vibrant, beating heart of Georgia and the whole Caucasus. While at first glance Tbilisi can seem both crowded and chaotic, many neighborhoods retain a village-like feel with their narrow streets and small shops, while the Old Town is still redolent of an ancient Eurasian crossroads, with its winding lanes, balconied houses and leafy squares, all overlooked by the 17-cen old Narikala Fortress. Whichever side of the city you’re looking for, you’ll discover both on any exploration of Georgia’s capital. During our excursion, you’ll see all major highlights of the city including the National Museum and discover the hidden treasure of the city.

Overnight in Tbilisi

On this day we’re going to visit Kakheti region, located in Eastern part of Georgia. Famous for its stunning landscapes and mesmerizing views. The cradle of WINE with 8’000 continuously years of tradition of winemaking, making it the oldest wine region in the world. The first destinations is 9th century’s Bodbe monastery complex from where we drive to Signagi — old trading town with 17th century’s defensive wall around; Cobbled streets and terracotta tile-roofed homes with colorful carved balconies and breathtaking views of the Alazani Valley give it a very charming character.
The final destination will be winery, where apart from wine tasting, we will have masterclasses.

Overnight in Tbilisi

After breakfast, we continue exploring Georgia by visiting a UNESCO — listed site and an ancient capital of the Georgian Kingdom, Mtskheta, known as “Second Jerusalem” Which is one of the oldest & mysterious towns in the world founded in the first half of the 1st millennium B. C.

The first site we’ll visit is a 6th century’s Jvari Monastery, built on the top of the cliff, overlooking the confluence of two Rivers and Mtskheta holy town. The word Jvari means “cross” and refers to the large wooden cross erected after spreading Christianity in this region. It gives you an amazing 360° degrees panoramic view over Mtskheta and Svetickhoveli Cathedral, confluence of two rivers, Zedazeni mountain and Tbilisi.

Then we drive towards the magnificent 11th century’s Svetitskhoveli Cathedral where Christ’s robe was buried and the and town market.

You’ll have chance to have lunch and stroll around the Mtskheta market after visiting Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. After Mtskheta, you’ll head to central Georgia and visit city named Gori.

This city was an important military stronghold in the Middle Ages and maintains a strategic importance due to its location on the principal highway connecting eastern and western parts of Georgia. Today it is best known due to the Stalin’s museum, which was built in 1956 after the death of Stalin. You’ll have opportunity to visit this museum and have a look on a house where he was born. 

The last highlight of the tour is rock-hewn town, called Uplistsikhe. The city emerged at the end of the II — the beginning of 1st millennium BC and served as a reliable shelter from invaders. Uplistsikhe is a multi-layered archaeological site, one of the most important monuments of the Georgia’s cultural heritage.

Overnight in Tbilisi

After breakfast, we drive to the North where Europe’s most impressive mountain range, Great Caucasus are ready to host you. The first stop is Zhinvali Dam, stunning lake laying between the mountains, only 10 minutes away from the second stop, Ananuri Fortress. Legendary medieval castle that once played significant role in the history of Georgia. Then we stop on the enigma of the nature, unification of black and white rivers with quite interested legend. After that, enjoy with a mesmerizing landscapes of Gudauri Ski resort.

Overnight in Tbilisi

Tsalka (Dashbashi) Canyon is a natural monument, located in Algeti National Park, South Georgia, at 1200-1500 meters above sea level and is hidden in the green attracts a lot of visitors with its paradise idyll and beauty. The canyon has become even more popular since a touristic center opened on the site in the summer of 2021, providing plenty of options for comfort and adventure in a picturesque setting. The popularity of the canyon is also due to the fact that the walking distance is small and anyone can easily visit this amazing place without much effort.

1.8-kilometer hiking path begins at the canyon’s visitors center and leads visitors past the waterfalls that line the canyon’s walls. The entire hike takes approximately one hour, showcasing the most impressive of the canyon’s charms.

240 meter-long Diamond bridge is in complete synthesis with the environment, and thanks to the 360° view area, it promises visitors an unforgettable adventure. In the middle of a diamond-shaped structure on the bridge is a Diamond 360⁰ Café, which will take its place in the Guinness Book of Records, with the status of the tallest restaurant hanging on the bridge

A trip to Tsalka Canyon makes an ideal getaway from Tbilisi and can also be a stopping point on a more extensive journey. Near the canyon lies the picturesque Tsalka Lake, a favorite destination of Georgian fishermen. You can also hike to the ruins of the 9th-century Kldekari Fortress, and although little is left of this once-powerful citadel, the trek to it is rather charming.
