Meeting at Tbilisi International airport, transfer to the hotel;

After fresh up we start city tour. Tbilisi is the ancient city where Western & Eastern cultures meet each other. The vibrant, beating heart of Georgia and the whole Caucasus. While at first glance Tbilisi can seem both crowded and chaotic, many neighborhoods retain a village-like feel with their narrow streets and small shops, while the Old Town is still redolent of an ancient Eurasian crossroads, with its winding lanes, balconied houses and leafy squares, all overlooked by the 17-cen old Narikala Fortress. Whichever side of the city you’re looking for, you’ll discover both on any exploration of Georgia’s capital. During our excursion, we’ll see all major highlights of the city and discover the hidden treasure of the city.

Overnight in Tbilisi

On this day we’re going to visit Kakheti region, located in Eastern part of Georgia. Famous for its stunning landscapes and mesmerizing views. The cradle of WINE with 8’000 continuously years of tradition of winemaking, making it the oldest wine region in the world. The first destinations is 9th century’s Bodbe monastery complex from where we drive to Signagi — old trading town with 17th century’s defensive wall around; Cobbled streets and terracotta tile-roofed homes with colorful carved balconies and breathtaking views of the Alazani Valley give it a very charming character.
The final destination will be winery, where apart from wine tasting, we will have masterclasses.

Overnight in Tbilisi

After breakfast, we drive to the North where Europe’s most impressive mountain range, Great Caucasus are ready to host you. The first stop is Zhinvali Dam, stunning lake laying between the mountains, only 10 minutes away from the second stop, Ananuri Fortress. Legendary medieval castle that once played significant role in the history of Georgia. Then we stop on the enigma of the nature, unification of black and white rivers with quite interested legend. After that, enjoy with a mesmerizing landscapes of Gudauri Ski resort. Final destination is the most iconic site of Georgia, Gergeti Trinity Church.

Overnight in Kazbegi

After breakfast, we’ll head to city of Gori and visit the Museum of Joseph Stalin and his heavy armored personnel train. We’ll also see the home where he was born and spent his early childhood before leaving for Tbilisi. Then a drive to the oldest settlement in the whole Caucasus, Uplistsikhe. A mystical ancient rock-hewn town, built high on the rocky left bank of Mtkvari River
known as “The Lord’s Fortress“ founded in the second millennium B. C. lasted till the Mongol invasion in the 13th Century. Later we arrive in Kutaisi — the country’s secondlargest city and former capital.

Overnight in Kutaisi

We’ll tour Kutaisi this morning, the legendary town where the trail of the Argonauts is said to have passed through capital of Colchis during their search for the Golden Fleece. Then continue by visiting the Bagrati Cathedral, the symbol of unified Georgia built in 1003, overlooking the city and impressive Byzantine Gelati Monastery, a 12th-century masterpiece of the Georgian Golden Age that is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Later we check the local market (bazaar) and head to the magic Prometheus cave full with hanging waterfalls that are waiting for you. Stunning curtains of stalactites and stalagmites that will convince you about existence of the fairy world.

Overnight in Kutaisi

Today we’ll drive towards Batumi, third-largest cities of Georgia, located on the Black Sea. On the way we are going to visit the Dendrological Park which until 2020 used to be a swamp. Nowadays, it is a home of 58 species of birds from all over the world and endemic plants, found
nowhere in the world. Once we reach Batumi, take rest and enjoy with the “Ali and Nino” moving statue.

This is the day for Batumi’s city tour. The architecture of Batumi is quite impressive as most of the houses were built in the 19th century, and you can feel history come alive in the rows of small shops where craftsmen are making copper ware, and in the small cafés that produce
a magnificent aroma of freshly brewed coffee. The old city is known for its variety of small and intricate architectural details: buildings are decorated with chimeras, mermaids, Atlantes, and other mythical creatures. We’ll also visit Batumi’s Europe Square, Piazza Square, Alphabetic tower, Boulevard, and etc. Later we drive to the Botanical garden of Batumi, which is located on the Green Cape and offers amazing views of the Black Sea. Established in 1880, it is the biggest and the oldest botanical garden in the South Caucasus, and hosts an incredible collection of more than 2,000 species of trees.

Today is mainly a day of transfers. After breakfast, we’ll drive to Borjomi. On arrival at our hotel, check-in and stroll around the small township, including the gardens and waterfall. Don’t forget to try a local mineral water which have bubbled up to the surface from a depth of 9 to 10 kilometers for more than 1,500 years. This volcanic origin is said to be the source of the water’s purported healing properties. About an hour walk from the entrance, you will discover a treasure of nature — Hot Sulphur Pools placed between the forest and the rocky river with the average temperature 32-38 C° — are very beneficial for health.


Overnight in Borjomi.

After breakfast, we drive towards Tbilisi that will take around 2 hours and on the way we’ll visit the former capital of Georgia — Mtskheta. Once we get to Tbilisi you’re free to enjoy the sites of the city.
