C. It is the former capital of Georgia, and one of the most visited place throughout the years. It was the first town to adopt Christianity in <b>4th <\/b>Century. Its nickname is \u201cThe Second Jerusalem\u201d that makes it more attractive because of its holy places. The whole town is under <b><u>UNESCO <\/u><\/b>cover from <b>1994<\/b>.<\/p><p>The first place we&#8217;ll visit is <b>Jvari <\/b>Monastery, built on the top of the cliff, overlooking the confluence of two Rivers and Mtskheta holy town. The word <b>Jvari <\/b>means &#8220;cross&#8221; and refers to the large wooden cross erected after spreading Christianity in this region. It gives you an amazing <b>360<span style=\"text-align: var(--text-align); background-color: var(--ast-global-color-4); font-size: 1rem;\">\u00b0<\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; text-align: var(--text-align); background-color: var(--ast-global-color-4);\">\u00a0degrees view panoramic view over Mtskheta and <\/span><span style=\"font-style: inherit; text-align: var(--text-align); background-color: var(--ast-global-color-4);\"><b>Svetitskhoveli <\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; text-align: var(--text-align); background-color: var(--ast-global-color-4);\">Cathedral, Confluence of rivers, <\/span><span style=\"font-style: inherit; text-align: var(--text-align); background-color: var(--ast-global-color-4);\"><b>Zedazeni <\/b><\/span><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; text-align: var(--text-align); background-color: var(--ast-global-color-4);\">mountain and Tbilisi.<\/span><\/p><p>The second highlight of the tour is <b>Svetitskhoveli <\/b>Cathedral, which is one of the most significant pieces of Christian architecture, mentioned in numerous historical books and literature. The first cathedral was built in <b>4th <\/b>century and according to the legend the robe of Jesus Christ is buried under the church.<\/p><p>After visiting <b><u>UNESCO <\/u><\/b>heritage sites, you&#8217;ll have free time to enjoy the local market atmosphere in Mtskheta. You&#8217;ll have chance to buy some souvenirs, species, Georgian National Candies called Churchkhela.
